Pre-Requisites

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Personal Interview with the Dean or Director of ISSM
    A personal interview is mandatory with either the dean or the director of
ISSM prior to acceptance to the school. Interviews are held in person or can
be conducted via telephone for those living off island. We give special
attention to each prospective student in order to be sure individual needs,
both long and short term, can be met.
  • Application Form with non-refundable application fee $100.00
  • A current photo
  • TB Clearance (must be completed prior to start of class)

Application Process

Our class size is a minimum of 6 students and a maximum of 10.
We believe in a small class size to ensure the quality of instruction.
Applications are considered according to the date the application form is received and the interview completed.

ISSM does not discriminate based on race, national origin, gender, sex, or religious beliefs.

Applicants are notified by email or phone.  Upon final acceptance, you will be sent a Registration Packet.
A non-refundable $500 registration deposit (applicable to the tuition) is required to hold your space in the class.

Tuition & Payments

Level 1       180 hours       $ 2424 + tax   includes introduction to clinical practicum
Level 2       127 hours       $ 1939 + tax   includes 63 hrs of supervised clinical practicum (totaling 190 hrs)
Level 3       127 hours       $ 1939 + tax   includes 63 hrs of supervised clinical practicum (totaling 190 hrs)
Level 4       127 hours       $ 1939 + tax   includes 63 hrs of supervised clinical practicum (totaling 190 hrs)

 

Transfer & Drop-In Students: $18 per class hours + tax.
Transfer students will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Payment Plan Available: 2 Installments per Level plus a 3% installment fee.

Additional Costs

  • Books and Manuals ($700 – $800)
  • Massage Table and Supplies ($300 – $500)
  • Student Liability Insurance ($25)
  • Cost of Exam and Licensure ($250)

Payments for books and services are due and payable on or before the start of class.

A $ 35.00 handling fee will be charged for returned / dishonored checks.
